Illegal aliens with criminal histories and Cartels from Mexico and South America are taking advantage of our fluid borders and our nation's compassion to hardworking individuals seeking work and prosperity. Gang violence among illegal aliens is a major problem in our cities. Our agricultural economy is dependent upon legal migrant workers, and due to bureaucratic entanglements, has suffered the past two harvest seasons. We need to reinforce our borders, enforce existing laws and create new legislation for sensible reduction of crime & poverty, and facilitate legal immigration and work visas for law-abiding persons seeking a better life. In doing so, we may need to resolve to make the politically unpopular decision to deport illegal aliens currently in our country.
