Enforce the Brown versus Board of education decision in all major cities.

Created by M.E. on November 08, 2012

In 1954 the Supreme Court ruled that separate but unequal schooling was unconstitutional. The South has put into place forced bussing plans that have pushed many students to increased opportunities, better schools, and college. Yet, because the North didn't have the same level of chattel slavery or Jim Crow segregation, we turn a blind eye to Northern segregation. Meanwhile, New York City Schools are highly segregated. According to the New York Times, 80% of NYC students would have to move to achieve more integration in schools. Enforce the Brown v Board and stop separate and unequal schooling.
