The 2010 Congressional C.A.L.M. act directed television broadcasters to regulate the volume of commercials to the same level as the accompanying programming. The new rule worked for about 1 month of 2013 before broadcasters began circumventing and making excuses about the cost of new equipment, and advertisers began exploiting the loopholes. Tell the FCC to do their job and enforce the will of the people! Stop yelling at us through our televisions!
