Active enforcement of current immigration laws would result in changes on almost every social issue brought up lately. The country is being drained of its life blood by ignoring the obvious first step. deny illegal immigrants (NOT legal immigrants or legal immigrant workers) access to any kind of govt assistance or funding. This alone would reduce alot the debt burden on our country. This is a country of laws, just follow the ones we have and stop ignoring the big problem for political gain.
