Enforce A Federal Anti-Bullying Law.

Please sign a petition enforcing a federal law against bullying, especially bullying that leads to the victim committing suicide. Bullying has now become a weapon to hurt kids and teenagers. One out four teens were bullied last year, 9 out of 10 LGBT kids and teens report being bullied in school and online (source:stompoutbullying.com). So many kids and teens have committed suicide due to severe bullying while their tormentors are able to get off and walk away simply because they physically didn’t kill. Hold students who bully kids be held responsible for their actions, and let there be a general guide line for all schools to follow when dealing with bullying. Help make schools a safe haven for kids.
