Enforce Fiscal Responsibility in the Pentagon

The Pentagon's 2012 report held $9.22 billion in reconciling amounts to match Treasury Records. The Task Force for Business and Stability Operations spent $150 million on private Afghan luxury villas with flat screen televisions in each room, (at minimum) three star meals, and many other frivolous luxuries. In spite of their supposed need of these villas, they have yet to produce the name of a single client whom they convinced to invest in the country. The Defense Logistics Agency has massive surpluses with orders placed for more of the same items. It is time Legislators and the Executive Branch made demanding and enforcing the passage of an audit a high priority, as the current mismanagement both needlessly wastes taxpayer money and adversely affects national security.
