enforce the humane treatment for the detained Central American children who are placed in unhygienic living conditions.

Created by J.R. on July 08, 2014

Deeming the living circumstances even inhumane for a dog, Murrieta’s Mayor Pro-Tem, Harry Ramos stated that, “If the citizens of Murrieta were to place their dogs in similar conditions as these children are being placed, then they would be heavily fined.” These young children are forced to eat next to a toilet that is within five feet of distance to them. Most of these children are fleeing from life threatening issues and regardless of the fact are treated like criminals. Due to the recent increase of undocumented minors crossing the border alone this has turned from a political to a human rights issue. We demand that the government take action by ensuring the safety of these children and that they are treated humanely.
