There are a number of people, especially from South India and mainland China which are coming to USA as skilled workers on H1-B visa using fake degrees.. This is because there is no strict background check for their qualifications while petition process. The companies which are filing H1-B or other visas for such people claim that they are skilled workers, but in actual, those companies only think of charging dollars to american companies for providing cheap labor. They are actually misusing the H1-B visa program. These people are not even skilled for their own country.
There should be an interview process in the applicant's country to justify the skills of the person applied for H1-B. This should be same as L1 visa program. This will ensure that only actually skilled person gets visa.
