Enforce the law that is already in place of people abusing the 911 system.

I feel strongly about enforcing the existing law of people who are abusing the 911 system. According to that law, “It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully summon an ambulance or willfully report that an ambulance is needed when such person does not have good cause to believe that the services of an ambulance are needed.” Although this law exists , it goes unnoticed. Unfortunatley we have people who continue to call the 911 system for non emergencies. Ear aches, a ride to the hospital, for a band aid and the list goes on an on. I have family members who work for a local Fire Dept./EMS who are constantly having to deal with this issue and as long as it continues to go unnoticed it will continue to be a problem.
