Many many good people whose lives are extremely damaged by false restraining orders.
Some civil rights are stripped away, finding a good job is very difficult due to background checks. It also opens the door to be violated and sent to jail without bail, even if the persons new statements are false. It is an easy way for people to attempt to have someone put in jail and works unfortunately.
This needs to stop, and the people who do this to others should be brought to justice.
A mandatory sentence of no less than 364 days in jail should be enforced on those who make an attempt to ruin peoples lives by lying on restraining orders.
