We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Enforce a minimum time an employee should work in a company before being fired or laid off

Created by I.M. on August 17, 2016

Middle class moms and dads are fired or laid off every day for no reason or for selfish reasons of the managers.
Also companies only wants to hire fresh graduates, students and young people. Losing a job and finding a new job not only places immense stress on the individual but also causes a great tension in the family, kids are very much affected due to the change in the financial position, having a stressed parent who does not feel good about themselves. Enforcing a law that employers can fire or lay off employees (full time and contractors) only after 3 years from the date of hiring can give these middle aged parents some time to relax and be prepared (mentally, physically and also improve skillsets) to find another job at the end of 3 years.
