Enforce the National Do Not Call Registry.

Created by B.W. on February 20, 2013

Telemarketers must be prosecuted for making unwanted calls and violating people's peace and privacy in their own homes. Despite the implementation of the "Do Not Call Registry" in 2003, unwanted calls and text messages continue to both landline and cell phones because telemarketers that ignore the wishes of those on the list are not punished (or not punished enough). Complaints of violations sent to the "Do Not Call Registry" too often go unanswered. Stop those who undermine our quality of life on a daily basis through interruptions to those who have explicitly and emphatically said "NO!" to all telephone solicitations by enrolling in the "Do Not Call Registry."
