Student education is supposed to provide extra help in the classroom for students falling behind or don't understand the curricular being taught, but instead they are simply adding points to the work they do to help boost grades. This does not help prepare the student for work they will need to do later on. Teachers can't provide all the extra time though due to getting pulled for meetings and other things for the board.
"No child left behind" needs to be enforced throughout the entire school system and not just individual schools.
