We pay income taxes and our elected officials focus more on representing special interest groups, big business, or their political parties.
We should force Senators and Representatives to prove that they are meeting the wishes of the majority of the individuals within their constituencies, and refund income taxes for each individual for any period of time that any of the elected officials fail to accurately represent the majority of individuals within their constituency.
Often, legislation is passed that limit the actions or options of individuals in ways that are contrary to the idea of a free country held by the founders of this nation. When these limits do not directly or indirectly harm others, they should be viewed as infringing the rights of the citizenry of the United States.
