Enforce our Second Amendment rights by publicly investigating burdensome and expensive municipal (city) ordinances.

Created by V.K. on February 07, 2012

Some major cities in the United States routinely make it - for citizens - extraordinarily difficult, very expensive and extremely time consuming to exercise our Rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.

For example, in Chicago, a citizen who has committed NO crime whatsoever must pay upwards of $100, submit to an embarrassing fingerprint process and wait nearly a month to obtain a Firearms Permit to obtain a handgun. In New York City, citizens must pay almost $400, submit fingerprints, pay notary fees, submit to an interview and wait weeks to months to obtain a similar Permit. Both cities also charge a registration fee.

NO law abiding citizen should have to PAY for any of their rights GUARANTEED by our Constitution. This practice must cease immediately.
