Enforce a policy for all major movie theaters throughout the country to carry a Description device for the sightless.

Created by M.A. on February 22, 2014

The visually impaired in this nation have a great disadvantage when it comes to movies. They can't see the movie and because of this they have to try to differentiate the voices and when there are no voices they can't tell what's going on. However with the device Description allows for the visually impaired persons to be able to fully enjoy the movie as much as those with sight. The cost is around $5,000 to put it in but the amount of people going to the theaters to increase as well. This amendment to Section 508 should be applied to all major theaters that house more than 5,000 patrons a month. Please sign this petition and make a huge difference in the terms of people getting equal access to movies. Thank you.
