Because it has now become obvious that the american people's rights are being flouted daily by an economical model that places greed above ethics, it is necessary more than ever before, to give a constitutional form to President Roosevelt's Second Bill of Rights, to create and enforce laws that will guarantee to the people of America, among others:
The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;
The right of every family to a decent home;
The right to adequate medical care;
The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;
Those rights are being denied to the people of America everyday because of a system that worships money above everything else.
