We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Enforce requested halt of Dakota Access pending the appeal. Stop protestors held w/out bail NOW.

Created by A.B. on September 14, 2016

Standing Rock tribe and reservation North Dakota has filed an appeal to the injunction denied to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline thru Earth Justice. After a Washington district court judge denied the injunction, President Obama administration stepped in and sent a request to the Oil companies to voluntarily pause construction and denied construction 20 miles of Lake Oahae. However, the Oil companies have stated they will and have proceeded with construction, many peaceful protestors are being held days without bail, and law enforcement now has loaded semi-automatic weapons and tear gas aimed at individuals.
We request enforced haltby the Federal government while the appeal is pending, and ask that this enforcement would continue until a full Environmental Impact Statement is completed.
