Dallas County District Judge Jeanine Howard recently presided over a case regarding the rape of a fourteen year old girl. The perpetrator, aged eighteen, faced up to twenty years imprisonment and had even previously confessed his guilt to police.
Jeanine Howard, rather than enforce an independent judiciary, gave the self-confessed rapist a light sentence, stating that the fourteen year old's past sexual history meant that she was not a real victim She 'Wasn't The Victim She Claimed To Be' (A direct quote from Jeanine Howard herself.
Not only did she give this rapist a mere 45 day prison sentence, but she ordered him to serve out his community service in a rape crisis centre assisting vulnerable me and women.
This is totally unacceptable. This behaviour should not be tolerated.
