It is currently ridiculously tedious, time consuming and archaic to be able to obtain medical records from almost any kind of medical facility - physicians, hospitals and other facilities.
We the people demand that all medical facilities and practices be mandated to release medical records by email, fax or express mail within 24 hours by verifying patient details on the phone or on a website. The process should not depend on a form being hand delivered - the form should be accepted by the facility electronically.
A patient should have to wait no longer than 24 hrs to receive their medical records and the verification process should take no longer than 15 mins (like verifying personal information to financial institutions to apply for various products)
