Enforce the second amendment by stopping all attempts to strip Americans of their right to bear arms. No gun control.

With the recent tragedy's occurring around the US during this holiday season many scared individuals want to create new legislation to remove the right to bear arms of the American people. Or at least highly restrict certain weapons from being in the hands of civilians. I feel this is a mistake as the American people should have the right to defend themselves without having to rely on any local law enforcement. The only ones that should be restricted are those that are already convicted felons or those proven to be a harm to themselves or others. Law abiding citizens should have no restrictions on any weapon, or accessory that allows them to defend themselves in the way they see fit.
