Enforce section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to tax churches that try to influence election outcomes.

The IRS tax code section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code strictly prevents religious organizations that enjoy tax-exempt status from participating "in any campaign activity for or against political candidates". This has been repeatedly broken by everyone from the Catholic church to the Southern Baptists. While this petition respects the right to any and all religious freedoms it calls on the administration to enforce this code for all churches that endorse or otherwise influence their respect communities and apply the collected taxes towards reducing the national debt.
