Enforce the Separation of Church & State, don't allow lawmakers to create laws based on their religious stance.

Our country was founded on religious freedom, but lately, it seems more and more of our political leaders take it amongst themselves to pass bills or laws based on their own religious standpoint. I for one am tired of it. The founding fathers wrote the constitution for a reason. They wanted to get away from the religious stronghold in England with check & balance to keep one party from overpowering another party. It seems everyone in Congress or in a position of power has their own agenda... and they don't have the good of the people in mind. I urge you to sign this petition to help try and bring this issue to light. Let's try and make this country how it's supposed to be.
