Americans need an honest government, here is an easy first step.
We would like the very powerful position, the speaker of the house, to be forced to tell the truth. If he/she chooses to state things like “The top one percent pay thirty-eight percent of the income taxes in America,” we ask the speaker of the house to explain what led him/her to that number, including what he/she ignored, like payroll taxes to name one in this instance. We would ask that the speaker use his speeches to be of neutral ground, stating facts that are not twisted or turned to support some ideology.
We know if the American people got the honest to goodness truth from our government, we could figure out the rest. Thank you.
