Enforce stricter background checks and ban high capacity magazines.

The Newtown shootings were a senseless and horrific act. We need to prevent similar murders by first preventing mentally ill people from purchasing guns. Universal Background Checks will prevent the mentally ill from purchasing guns even if not from a federally licensed dealer. Also, we need to ban high capacity magazines, because if murderers don't have them, they will have to reload more often, which will make the easier to stop. Hunters and people who use a gun for sport do not need high capacity magazines. In conclusion, we need a ban on high capacity magazines and universal background checks.
