This petition is for those who believe that animals, domestic and wild, should recieve protection against those who intentially torture, beat, mutilate, fight, drown, emaciate, poison and unnecessarily kill for pleasure. Stronger laws will help prevent many cases of animal abuse. Please help make animal abuse a FELONY in all 50 states. Do not allow people continue to hide in the shadows of the criminal justice system as they inflict pain and torture upon the our pets and wildlife. Animal abuse is a start for other abuse. By making animal abuse a felony, it can help lead to us to other malicious criminals. Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves!
