Suicide education should be enforced in public schools. Schools are the foundation in developing children. It is important that children are educated on suicide due to the peer pressure in school that may lead to bullying.38,364 suicides were reported, making suicide the 10th leading cause of death for Americans.Statictics state the ratio of suicide attempts to suicide death in youth is estimated to be about 25:1 compared to a about 4:1 in the elderly.
With this petition I would like to give light and educate children on how bullying can lead to suicide. It is my goal that "NO VOICE IS LEFT UNHEARD" One signature can lead to a lifetime of change. Let this petition become a movement!
