Enforce tougher laws on internet privacy. Internet anonymity has led to loss of privacy, defamation, and theft.

Created by T.F. on April 23, 2013

Internet security reasons have gone beyond the reach of using firewalls and buying software to keep confidential information from reaching the hands of the wrong people. It has also led to the defamation of people, slander, and an overall loss of control of internet activity. From websites that allow child pornography to websites that give away government information of U.S. Citizens, many fall victim to these malicious acts. With the rise of internet crimes happening due to virtual "anonymity" online through fake profiles and "hackers", no one is safe from these crimes, and it seems that there is nothing in place to stop these criminals. Maybe the answer is denying people the right to be anonymous online, or have stricter policies enforcing better internet security.
