Engage the Japanese government to help clean up the tsunami debris showing up on the Alaskan & Pacific Northwest coasts.

Since the tsunami on March 11, 2011 that was the result of a 9.0 earthquake in Japan, debris has been showing up on the coasts of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, particularly here on the coast of Washington state. I would like to petition the U.S. Government's Department of the Interior and EPA to engage the Japanese government to help with the clean up on our coasts. Though I realize this disaster is an 'act of God', the debris not the result of actions here in the U.S. Therefore, I would like to draw attention to this issue of environmental cleanup through a cooperative venture with the Japanese government. Our environment here in the Pacific Northwest is at risk of further pollution, and in addition to hazardous waste if this is not cleaned up properly.
