Engage in leadership and take positive steps to prevent future massacres by passing common-sense gun control.

Created by E.M. on July 22, 2012

The AR-15 used in the Aurora, CO shooting had been banned under the assault weapons bans that were lifted during the Bush Administration.

Indeed, all the guns and ammunition used in that massacre were purchased legally.

There is no reason that a sportsman, a target shooter, or even someone concerned for self defense need all the ammunition and guns that were used there.

Indeed, there's no reason that purchasing decongestant is tracked but purchasing guns and ammunition is not.

I urge the Obama Administration to pass common-sense, gun control that will in no way limit the rights of hunters, target shooters, or even those concerned about self-defense, but will limit the purchase of assault weapons and mass quantities of ammunition.
