Engage in the process to ratify an updated version Equal Rights Amendment, to truly end systematic discrimination.

Created by S.J. on February 26, 2014

The Equal Rights Amendment was originally drafted and almost ratified so that there could be no discrimination based on sex. To bring the proposed amendment into the modern day, the best Equal Rights Amendment would provide a blanket to all discrimination, based on sex, sexual orientation, race, among other factors. Although many of these issues have been previously addressed by legislation, a broader law would facilitate the enforcement of anti-discrimination practices. Wage disparity and general mistreatment should be eradicated in a free society.
