English 22 Year Old separated from Family due to 5 year Green Card waiting list

Created by M.P. on August 17, 2015

My father, step mother and brother have all recently moved back to Dahlonega, Georgia USA from London, UK. My step mother, Beth, is a Dahlonega native and voter who moved to London 12 years ago when she met my father. Myself and my brother are both her step children. We all petitioned last March, 2014, for family based green cards. As my father is a spouse of a US citizen, his visa was granted immediately, as was my brothers as he is an unmarried son under the age of 21. I, however, fall into the category of unmarried sons and daughters over the age of 21, as my petition was filed 6 months after my 21st birthday. I am now 22, almost 23, and I am stuck in a situation leaving me with no visa and separated from my family. I am petitioning for this to be changed!!!
