Every year a massive amount of drugs are smuggled over the southern border. Even more important than the drug problem is the amount of crime and kidnappings that happens near the border. Cities and Towns near the border claim that people are lost or go missing quite often. While a portion of the border is fenced, there are many areas where there is no security and gaining access to America is as easy as a simple walk. The Mexican cartels benefit from the crime and sale of narcotics that happen on our ground. The border needs to be secure!
