After being discharged from the military, it's sad that MANY of our working veterans must show up at their job site on a day supposedly set aside to "Honor" them.
Pass legislation to ensure that all employers give their employed veterans "Veteran's Day" off with pay. Give this day exclusively to VETERAN'S and not to NON-VETERAN'S!
If a nation wide survey was performed, it would most likely show that MORE CIVILIANS get "Veteran's Day" off than veterans do.
How can we justify civilians receiving "Veteran's Day" off with pay when many veterans must work????
