It is tiresome to trudge through all the petitions asking the white house to pass this or that law, knowing full well the president has no power to do such a thing. Trying to find good, substantive petitions to sign is harder to do when wading through people's pet issues that would be better served through a letter/call/email to their respective congressperson.
