We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Ensure the Combined Federal Campaign can continue to collect cash donations from donors and agencies

Created by K.R. on September 13, 2016

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) supports thousands of worthy causes around the world. The Federal Government utilizes the CFC to provide employees a workplace giving venue. Many of the fund raising events are live, at work functions - bake sales, book sales, yard sales, lunches - and they collect cash for these events. The money is then donated - via credit union deposit - to the CFC. These events foster camaraderie, boost morale, and provide a sense of contributing to something bigger than an individual. Without the live events, CFC donations will suffer, and thereby have a negative impact to the many worthy causes CFC promotes. The current plan is to discontinue cash donations in 2017. This request is to allow agencies the continued option of collecting cash donations.
