Over the years we have had at least ten Virginia attorneys. During our journey we would identify items like mental health counselors who would have attested to a toxic household filled with spousal abuse, security cameras that would have recorded a Manassas Virginia police assault on a citizen that had submitted to arrest and even an attorney who was caught stealing clients settlements yet the VA Bar could not ensure that a damaged, bankrupt probono client had legal counsel.
The retained attorneys never bothered with reviewing identified material for value in a strategy to represent their client. Their strategy was for their client to plead guilty.
The VA Bar dismisses the service its members provide the community, legal strategy, leaving it up to damaged clients to regulate.
