The plight of the people of Palestine and of the Gaza strip is a story of lengthy histories not approachable in the body of this document. However, it is vital to our petition to remind the UNITED STATES of some points which we feel have led to the present crisis. 1.) The British Mandate & Balfour Declaration promised a Jewish State that alienated both indigenous Jews and Palestinian Arabs. 2)The UN recognizing the coming trouble advised Partition. 3.) Statehood in 1948 resulted in a war which expelled 700,000 Palestinians. Ethnic cleansing continued to present conflict has forced Palestinians to turn to HAMAS as a protector as they have no standing ARMY, NAVY, AIRFORCE.ISRAEL IS CURRENTLY ENGAGED IN OPERATIONS WHICH CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS GENOCIDE. AMERICA WILL NOT PAY FOR THEIR CRIMES!
