Americans addicted to all things Downton Abbey spent months and months avoiding "spoiler alerts" on all forms of media in anticipation of the US broadcast of their 3rd season. However, bumping into spoilers is almost entirely unavoidable especially if you follow Downton Abbey on any social media platform or own a tv.
Season 3 was all but ruined for its fans, when the news was released that Dan Stevens (who played Matthew Crawley) decided to leave the show - Season 3 ends with his sudden death. US Downton Abbey fans, cannot possibly endure another year of UK filming, UK release, and UK social media postings without ruining another season.
This issue may seem small in the grand scheme - however, programs like Downton Abbey - which have depth, and soul are not quite so common. Please help!
