Ensure educators are properly respected and compensated for educating America's youth

The value of a good education is clearly evident in our society, as we place great emphasis reforming our current system. However, the ones who are most affected by this change go unnoticed by many in our country -- teachers. Teachers provide the backbone to our great country, and as such, should be properly compensated and recognized for the job they so selflessly do each day. Allocating a minuscule amount of tax dollars to education specifically for the purpose of properly compensating teachers would further advance the notion that America is committed to its education system and the pillars upon which that system is built, our teachers.
