The purpose of this petition, is to attempt to put in place some type of drill or plan that would allow children and adults in this very tragic circumstance to have a better chance to survival. This should be a requirement for public and private schools alike decided at a Federal level.
If, or until gun laws change, perhaps the best chance at saving as many lives as possible, is to be proactive.
Sadly it seems, the days of going to school in peace, or seeing it as a haven of sorts, are gone. Children and adults everywhere need to be vigilent, to practice being aware. Furthermore, it seems necessary to create a plan of action and escape in the likely event that these horrendous actions would take place again.
