Ensure that encryption on all private computerized devices is not weakened or subject to government mandated backdoors.

We the people should not have our constitutional right to privacy infringed because of ill advised public servants looking at encryption as a threat to public safety. As seen in hack the Juniper firewall system used by the US government, backdoors built into software and hardware WILL be exploited by outside groups and individuals with motivation to cause widespread public outcry, embarrassment and to divulge and collect information meant to be totally secure and safe from hackers. The security of our financial, digital and intellectual property will no doubt be at risk and this fact should not be forgotten by those with the false idea that encryption is a threat to national security. Without question, the result of weakened encryption and backdoors will be catastrophic for all.
