ensure equal education opportunities (bi-lingual ed.) to all students regardless of race or immigration status.

Created by K.J. on April 03, 2013

In an effort to equalize the educational field for Non-English Speaking Hispanics, they are given an opportunity to learn English as a second language at a very young age; Pre-K/age 4-free of charge. Non-English Speakers are being given an unfair advantage over non-bilingual(English-Only)Speakers. Fact: a second language needs to be introduced at an early age; Junior High or High School is too late for most students. Eventually, my child will be placed out of the job market in Texas because most job opportunities give preferential treatment to bilingual applicants. This program, fully funded by the government, should be available to ALL students at the same early age as non-English speaking Hispanics.
