The honesty of elections, including party primaries for national office, is one of the highest domestic national priorities.
Exit polling is one of the most dependable ways to detect rigged elections, stuffed ballot boxes and other methods of corruption at polling places.
The disengagement of the National Election Pool in the middle of the 2016 primary season makes clear that corporate interests cannot and should not be relied upon to pay for the conducting of exit polls.
The Administration must engage non-partisan, professional, reliable exit-poll companies to conduct exit polls for each state party primary for national office-seekers and in each state for national elections. The results of these exit polls should immediately be made available to the public upon the closing of polls.
