I want schools in the United States to implement LGBT education into their health education courses. It is of great importance for future generations of our youth that education and information are provided for the LGBT youth across the United States, as a whole. If a new policy were to be set in place by congress in regards to this issue, the overall health and well being of many of the LGBT youth will increase. In addition to that, the heterosexual youth will understand the struggles that the LGBT community face. If the US government does not act on this issue, than many of our youth today and in future generations will be in the dark when it comes to LGBT matters; additionally, bullying and discrimination will continue in our schools against the LGBT community.
