We believe that the integrity of our election is just as important for our Democracy as the peaceful transfer of power. Also, given that 1) Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, but lost the election, 2) there is strong evidence that Russia has been engaging in cyber hacking activities with the goal of influencing the U.S. election, and 3) the results of the election were significantly different from the results predicted by most polls done leading up to the election, we have valid reasons to question the integrity of the 2016 national election. We therefore ask Congress to launch an investigation into the possibility of hacking activities that resulted in election tampering and invalid election results.
