This act of animal cruelty can not be left alone. The lion attacked the child as it would have done any other animal, humans are animals. If we continue to consider ourselves above one of our most basic traits then how can we peacefully coexist with other species. If this incident had happened with any other living creature, it would have been passed off as an act of nature, but not here. The department of Fish and Wildlife needs to be brought to justice for this event.
