Working Americans must have time off for vacation to be with their families, spend time with their spouses, children and extended family. American corporations provide the least amount of time off as compared to any other industrialized nation. The pressure of work is enormous, I believe this is the single biggest cause leading high rates of divorce in the country. Electronic devices have found a way to let the corporation enter the home of a working family. I believe that the absence of employee from work on vacation will not make much of a difference to the workplace. Many employees sit at the desk because they feel insecure that they will lose their jobs if they were to even take the miserly vacation now available to employees. Minimum vacation of 30 days per year must be mandatory.
