If sequestration continues, the United States Military will endure large budget cuts. These cuts include reducing the size of the army by more than 100,000 soldiers, retiring all A-10 attack aircraft before their replacement is even in production, retire several fully functioning navy vessels, and cut pay and benefits to military members and their families.
Cuts to the military budget in these uncertain times is completely against the best interests of the nation; it lessens our ability to defend ourselves, and takes away from the brave military members and their families who already sacrifice so much.
