It is a disturbing fact that there are kids who go hungry in school in the United States of America! Hunger is a serious obstacle for learning. While there are programs that either afford free or subsidized lunch based on poverty level criteria, it doesn't seem to be working.
This petition is to expand the free breakfast and lunch program to ALL kids at schools + disassociate it from any parental economic qualification.

A. 3 out of 5 teachers say they have children in their classrooms who regularly come to school hungry.
B. 4 out of 5 of those teachers say these children come to school hungry at least once a week.
C. A majority of teachers who see hunger as a problem believe the problem is growing.
